EXPECTATIONS 2023
What to expect on market day
We work hard the whole year to make the Grønt Marked possible and successful.
We will always try to provide you with what is needed (electricity, water, extra space, tent etc.) – we only need to be informed about the specifics enough time in advance.
Our volunteers are always ready to help out when a situation comes up. At the Grønt Marked we can count on each other.
We design the market’s line up in order to ensure a certain balance within the market offer. It is our primary goal to make sure to create a fair and balance market space for everybody.
Visitors
Our markets have an average of 1500-2000 visitors per market day. You can expect to meet many regulars and people from different ages and nationalities. We always encourage parents to bring their kids and teach them where the food comes from.
Weather
The weather can affect the numbers of customers and so sales at the market. Too much sun can be as bad as too much rain. No matter what we have the responsibility to guarantee the Grønt Marked in any case. Continuity and stability are key factors for a successful markets season.
Where extreme or severe weather conditions are forecast for a market day (for e.g heavy winds or rain), we will communicate any changes and possible cancellation at the earliest convenience.
Commitment to the market
We expect you to have a strong commitment to the market you are attending and respect the market community of producers and makers. It is through active cooperation and collaboration between all parts (organizers, producers, farmers, volunteers and consumers) that a great market day can be guaranteed.
Failing to attend the markets without notification or giving sufficient time for us to find a replacement directly affects the integrity of the market, as gaps in the market place, both in layout and produce availability, does not fare well with customers’ commitment to return to the market.
